Retired Michelin executive Viktor Hanuska champions global understanding through his efforts at the International Center of the Upstate

Hanuska works with the ICU to help ease the transition of international newcomers as they acclimate to life in Greenville. Only three years old when his family was evacuated from their German community in Slovakia during World War II, he is no stranger to change. He has also lived in Charlotte, France, and China.

Viktor Hanuska works closely with International Center executive director Wendy Anthony as a member of the organization’s board of directors. Hanuska heads up the International Relocation Program for the diverse organization.
