Five Greenville Drive players take the stage alongside other South Atlantic League All-Stars for the game of the summer.
They’ve Got Game
South Atlantic League All-Stars face off in a Fluor Field hosted game where peanut eating, home runs, and heckling are sure to ensue.

Baseball fans spanning the Southeast will be singing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” in Greenville’s own Fluor Field as it hosts the 51st Annual South Atlantic League All-Star Game for the first time next week. Fluor Field is home to four new Greenville Drive All-Stars, head trainer David Herrera, catcher Dan Butler, outfielder Ronald Bermudez, and relief pitcher Dennis Neuman, not to mention All-Star returner, manager Billy McMillon.
Not only is this a great opportunity to see some regional talent (and eat a hotdog), but you’ll also catch a glimpse of potential future Major Leaguers. “Former South Atlantic League All-Stars such as Ryan Howard, Jason Heyward, Pablo Sandoval, and Andrew McCutchen, are all excelling in the big leagues today, and this year's field of top prospects is sure to include a number of future greats as well," says Drive general manager Mike deMaine.
Don’t miss your chance to “root, root, root for the home team,” alongside the Southern Division’s best of the best as they duke it out for bragging rights over the Northern Division—nothing wrong with a little healthy competition. Oh yeah—and don’t forget your foam finger!
The game will take place on Tuesday, June 22 with the first pitch at 7:15 p.m., but come as early as 5:30 p.m. to enjoy watching the pre-game Home Run Derby starting at 6 p.m. For tickets ($6-$10), visit www.GreenvilleDrive.com, call (864)240-4528, or visit the box office at Fluor Field, 945 S. Main St.
