Coming in Spring 2009

Spotlighting extraordinary individuals, businesses, and organizations that give back to the Upstate

G Magazine, in association with the Community Foundation of Greenville, will honor two individuals, one business, and one non-profit organization, whose commitments to giving back to the community are especially noteworthy, plus a special Reader’s Choice Award that is decided by G Magazine readers. These individuals and organizations will be recognized at a special annual gala in the spring.

In addition, you will meet these paragons of philanthropy, learn about the charities they serve, and get inspired by their unselfish stories through the pages of our first G Magazine Charitable Events Calendar in our March/April 2009 issue. This special insert provides a comprehensive listing of non-profit charitable events throughout 2009.

The only criteria is that the event must raise funds to benefit a nonprofit group in the Upstate. Events will be listed in chronological order from March 2009 through February 2010.
