ShalomFest

Celebrate Jewish culture and mouthwatering food at Temple of Israel’s second-annual ShalomFest. 2009’s inaugural festival drew more than 2,500 attendees, and this year will not disappoint. Traditional Jewish foods including brisket, challah, kugel, bagels, matzoh ball soup, and knishes will be served, as well as delicious pastries such as mondel bread, hamantaschen, black-and-white cookies, strudel, and rugelach. In addition to food, the temple will present educational programs and exhibits on Israeli politics and Jewish culture, as well as live dancing, crafts, and cooking demonstrations.
