How I Became a Pirate
When young Jeremy Jacob and his exceptional digging skills are recruited by Captain Braid Beard for treasure-burying purposes, Jeremy thinks the pirate life is for him. Until he realizes that the simple things in life, like a kiss and a warm tucking in at night are those that are most important. The production includes songs like “A Good One to Boot,” “Green Teeth,” “I’m Really Just a Sensitive Guy,” and “You’ve Got to Talk Like a Pirate.” This production is based on the bestselling children’s book by Melinda Long, who will make a special appearance at the 10:30 a.m. performance on February 13.
