Coulrophobia
In this exhibit sponsored by Greenville’s Contemporary Art Forum (CAFfeine), local artist Allen Coleman not only explores the fear of clowns, coulrophobia, but also aspects of human nature with “the recurring image of the clown as metaphor for the ‘things that move us emotionally.’” A former art teacher, Coleman is currently the director of the Pickens County Museum of Art and History.
