Café Rivera

Café Rivera’s motto, “taste the world,” isn’t just an empty catchphrase. Along with monthly theme dinners, they serve a fine daily menu of international goodies, many from Cuban-Latin American traditions.

Pork loin sautéed in garlic and cumin, with black beans and rice and a creamy tomato sauce, is spectacular. There’s also a good Argentinean skirt steak with chimi churri, and a mixed grill plate with a petite filet, alligator sausage, duck breast and chipotle mashed potatoes. Chef Bruce Rivera is also an accomplished pastry chef, so save room for dessert. Closed Sunday.
