A long-time Simpsonville favorite, the family-owned Anita’s offers some of the best Mexican and Tex-Mex dishes this side of El Paso.

The comfortable, come-as-you-are vibe has appeal for both families and couples; prices are affordable and service is friendly and efficient. Salsa is freshly made and exceptionally good. The menu runs the gamut, but fajitas, tamarind chicken, pollo fundido, and carnitas are always good choices. Anita’s serves wine and beer only but concocts a surprisingly satisfying wine-based margarita. Closed Sunday and Monday.
