The Masters is an invitation-only golf tournament, The British Open is a world away, and the PGA Championship is a premium tour event. But the U.S. Open winner is America’s champion. The name says it all—United States Open. The tournament is open to any golfer, professional or amateur, who thinks he can compete for the title. It’s a tournament steeped in history and tradition, and, now, Lucas Glover’s name is forever etched alongside golf’s legends.
